GOG has expanded its Preservation Program by adding ten more games, ensuring long-term DRM-free access and compatibility with modern systems. This initiative, launched in November 2024, initially supported 100 games and provides dedicated technical support to maintain the best versions of these titles.
Newly Added Games
The latest additions to the Preservation Program include: The Wolf Among Us, The Last Express, The Last Express Gold Edition, Eric the Unready, Police Quest Collection, Lost Eden, Space Quest 1+2+3, The Dame Was Loaded, Kingdom: The Far Reaches, and Litil Divil. These join existing classics such as Fallout, The Witcher 1 and 2, RollerCoaster Tycoon, Dungeon Keeper, and Resident Evil 2.
Future Developments
GOG has also announced that work has commenced on native Linux support for the GOG Galaxy application. This development aims to enhance compatibility and accessibility for Linux users, aligning with GOG's commitment to broadening its platform's reach.
