Battlefield 6 is implementing significant updates that address progression, XP farms, and Conquest dynamics to enhance player experience.
Progression and XP Changes
Battlefield Studios announced a rise in match completion XP bonuses by 10%, alongside a 40% increase for daily challenge rewards. To allow earlier access to weapon build options, the XP needed for the first 20 attachment ranks is being reduced. Career assignments now require lower ranks, with adjustments to ranks 10, 15, and 20.
The studio is also addressing XP farms, which have been impacting server space. Adjustments are being made to limit XP farms and encourage players to engage more in custom and verified experiences with friends.
Conquest Gameplay Adjustments
Changes to the Conquest mode are being reversed to restore the original gameplay experience. Starting tickets for all maps will return to the initial launch value of 1,000, and rounds will revert to 45-minute timed matches. These changes aim to preserve the intended pacing of Conquest matches as the game approaches Season 1.
Battlefield Studios is actively working to enhance fairness and excitement in gameplay, looking to balance game mechanics effectively.
