Black Ops 7 has unveiled Endgame, a new PvE mode combining Zombies and DMZ elements, accessible after completing initial campaign missions.
Access and Gameplay
Players must complete the first 11 co-op campaign missions or receive an invitation from a player who has achieved this to access Endgame. The mode supports squads of up to four or solo play.
Set in Avalon, the map includes Points of Interest based on prior Black Ops titles. Players select one of 24 operators and customize their loadouts, including weapons and abilities.
Mechanics and Progression
Players earn combat power up to level 60 by defeating AI enemies and completing tasks. The mode features tools like anti-gravity fields. Progress unlocks four difficulty zones, providing skill and loadout rewards, as well as power upgrades.
Endgame involves calling in a VTOL and holding an exfiltration zone for successful extraction, preserving loadouts and power levels for subsequent matches. Failure to extract wipes progress, necessitating a restart.
Inspiration and Experience
Endgame offers a dynamic mix of CoD's multiplayer pace, Zombies intensity, and DMZ tension, layered with roguelike elements. It isn't entirely new but promises a fresh CoD experience when Black Ops 7 launches.
