Treyarch has opened up Endgame, the new extraction mode in Black Ops 7, to all players from 2023-11-21. Previously, Endgame was only accessible after completing the campaign mode. This change comes after positive feedback from players who had already accessed Endgame, showing strong demand for its broader availability.
Details on Endgame Mode
Endgame is designed as a grindable PvE (Player vs Environment) mode, acting as an epilogue to the co-op campaign. Although initially perceived as repetitive, the mode significantly escalates in difficulty as players increase their Combat Level. If defeated or if extraction fails, players' Combat Level resets, making persistence crucial.
Availability and Rewards
Starting 2023-11-21, all players can attempt the Endgame mode without needing to finish the main campaign. Those who had already unlocked the mode prior to this update will receive rewards: three tokens that each offer an hour of double XP, covering regular, weapon, and Battle Pass progression. Additionally, they will receive three Perkaholic GobbleGums for use in Zombies mode.
Treyarch's decision allows a wider audience to experience the challenge of Endgame while aiming for more player engagement in this grim, post-campaign setting.
