Cool Previews is a handy extension for Mozilla Firefox that allows you to preview websites before clicking on links. Simply hover your cursor over a link for a second, then move it to the small Cool Previews icon that appears. A tiny window will open, giving you a sneak peek of the site. While you can't browse the entire webpage, you can see enough to decide if you want to visit it. This feature is particularly useful for avoiding malicious websites and ensuring the content is what you expect. However, please note that Cool Previews is no longer being updated and may not be compatible with future Firefox versions.

    The app lets you preview windows when you hover the mouse over the icon. Settings include options to show previews on Google Images and to remember window positions. The icon can be placed to the right of the link or 20 pixels from the cursor. The speed at which windows open and close can be adjusted. Dark and Ice themes are available.
