Capcom has announced that PC sales now account for approximately 50% of its total game sales, a figure the company expects to grow. This revelation came during a Q&A session for the third quarter of the 2025 fiscal year financial results.
PC Strategy and Development
Capcom plans to enhance its PC development framework, leveraging the technical expertise gained from developing titles like Monster Hunter Wilds. The company aims to address increasing program complexity and performance challenges, which will be applied to future game development, including the highly anticipated Resident Evil Requiem.
Catalog Sales and Pricing
Capcom attributed the strong performance of its Resident Evil series catalog sales in the third quarter to effective pricing strategies. The company has aligned these measures with the release of new titles as part of its medium- to long-term roadmap. Capcom plans to continue promotional activities in the fourth quarter to further boost catalog sales, particularly in anticipation of Resident Evil Requiem.
