Starting the Recruitment Drive
The quest, aptly named Recruitment Drive, kicks off once players fight through waves of rippers to reach the Abandoned Post. A broken elevator keypad adds complexity, requiring resourcefulness and determination to scale to the top. To bridge this gap, a Glide Pack becomes the essential tool. Obtained through a specific chest in a nearby ripper camp, the Glide Pack is not easily accessible. Players must progress through the treacherous Riptide Grotto, where defeating the formidable boss, Splashzone, becomes paramount. Victory over Splashzone yields the key to opening the prized chest containing the Glide Pack.
Securing Elevator Clearance
With the Glide Pack secured, players must return to the Abandoned Post to take their next crucial step. At the top of the Post, a seemingly impenetrable door awaits, only openable by Claptrap. Alongside this, a non-operational elevator demands clearance for activation. Here, keen inspection skills come into play. Players must search the vicinity for clues, eventually finding a pivotal body from which they extract a Bolt. This Bolt is the key to summon the elevator, propelling the mission forward.
Once the elevator is operational, Claptrap opens the door to the Abandoned Post's safehouse. Inside, a message is broadcasted, marking the end of the Recruitment Drive quest as intrigued listeners respond.
