Android Chat Page Redesign
The latest update to Gemini for Android includes a redesign of the chat page. The chat title is now left-aligned, with a new-chat button placed next to it. This is followed by a share icon, which generates a link and opens the system share sheet, and a three-dot overflow menu. The menu offers options such as Pin, Rename, Delete, Help, and Feedback. While the layout is more conventional than the previous design, it may appear cluttered due to the addition of a hamburger icon on the opposite side. Some users suggest moving the share button into the overflow menu to reduce clutter.
iOS Version Enhancements
In a separate update for iPhone and iPad users, Gemini version 1.2026.0570001 has increased the size of the Gemini spark icon. The adjustment brings the sparkle closer to the rounded-square perimeter, aligning it more closely with the design of other Google apps.
