GOG has expanded its Preservation Program by adding ten classic games, ensuring they are DRM-free and compatible with modern platforms. This initiative, launched in 2025 during GOG's 16th anniversary, aims to maintain and preserve older PC games.
New Additions to the Program
The newly added titles include The Wolf Among Us (2013) priced at $14.99, The Last Express (1997) for $5.99, and The Last Express: Gold Edition (2013) at $6.99. Other games joining the program are Eric The Unready (1993) for $6.99, Police Quest Collection (1987) at $9.99, and Lost Eden (1995) for $9.99. Additionally, Space Quest 1, 2, and 3 (1989) are available for $9.99 each, along with The Dame Was Loaded (1996) for $6.99, Kingdom: The Far Reaches (1995) at $9.99, and Little Divil (1993) for $2.99.
Compatibility and Support
Games in the GOG Preservation Program are playable on Windows 10 and 11, with some titles also supported on Linux and macOS. The company ensures these versions are the best available on PC, providing customer support for any bugs or issues that may arise.
