GTK+ is a versatile, multi-platform toolkit designed for creating graphical user interfaces. It provides a comprehensive set of widgets, making it ideal for both small projects and full-scale application suites. Essential for running GTK+-based programs, GTK+ powers well-known applications like GIMP, GNOME, and Glade. Built on Glib, Pango, and ATK, GTK+ has gained popularity, particularly due to its association with GIMP. Whether you're developing a simple tool or a complex software suite, GTK+ offers the flexibility and functionality you need for an efficient and visually appealing user interface.
GTK has some great features, but I can’t help but feel like it lacks a bit of finesse. The tracking is on point, but the alerts can get a bit overwhelming. I’m happy for the most part, but I think there’s room to grow!
