Logisim is an educational tool designed to simplify the learning of basic logic circuit concepts. Powered by Java, it aims to bring students closer to the design and simulation of digital logic circuits. Logisim is primarily used for designing and schematically representing CPUs and other central processing units. It offers features like a combinational analysis model for circuit conversions, Boolean expressions, and truth tables. Users can also reuse smaller circuits in larger designs. Circuits can be saved, exported as GIF files, or printed, making Logisim a versatile tool for both learning and practical application in digital logic design.

Logisim is okay. It’s got a great layout, and I like the drag-and-drop function. Yet, sometimes it can be a bit frustrating if it doesn’t save changes properly. Just a few tweaks needed!
