Bungie has announced that its upcoming game, Marathon, will not be available on Xbox Game Pass at launch. Instead, the game will be a premium, paid title across all platforms, priced at $39.99.
Game Access and Pricing
Players interested in Marathon will need to purchase the game separately, as it is not included in the Game Pass subscription. On Xbox consoles, a Game Pass Core subscription is still required to play the game, while PC players must buy the game independently.
Free Trial Event
To give players a taste of the game before committing to a purchase, Bungie will host a Marathon Server Slam event. This free event allows players to experience the game and decide if they want to buy it.
