PoE2 Update 0.4.0 Scheduled for December Launch

11 Nov 2025

Grinding Gear Games confirmed that the Path of Exile 2 update 0.4.0 is on schedule for a December release. The company aims to announce the precise livestream and release dates shortly. Enthusiasm is high following the successful updates in version 0.3.0, which included Act 4 and the Rise of the Abyssal League.

Anticipated Features and Classes

The gaming community is particularly eager for the introduction of the Druid class—a shape-shifting character often associated with a bear form—expected to be part of the upcoming 0.4.0 update. This class was initially intended for the previous update but was delayed due to animation challenges. Currently, Path of Exile 2 plans to deploy twelve classes, of which five are yet to be introduced.

Migration and Structure Changes

Alongside new content, Grinding Gear Games confirms the migration process for characters and items from the recently concluded Rise of the Abyssal League. These will transition into the Standard or Hardcore early access leagues without any resets. Fans can expect further detailed insights into these changes in the coming weeks.
