Konami and NeoBards have released patch 1.10 for Silent Hill f, aimed at improving the combat experience for players. Key adjustments include a faster stamina recovery for Hinako and a reduction in enemy numbers across multiple sections. Additionally, some encounters that were previously mandatory can now be skipped.
New Difficulty Options Introduced
The patch introduces a new 'Casual' difficulty mode, available when starting a new game or in New Game Plus. Players struggling on higher difficulties, such as 'Story', are given the option to switch to Casual after failing multiple times. This aims to make the game more accessible to a broader audience.
Enhancements in New Game Plus
In New Game Plus, certain sections now offer optional skips, allowing players to jump to later scenes without impacting narrative outcomes. However, players should note they will miss out on collecting items and achieving certain milestones if they choose this option.
Additional Fixes and Adjustments
Patch 1.10 also includes over a dozen bug fixes and miscellaneous adjustments to the game’s mechanics. This follows player feedback, as combat remained a controversial aspect despite positive reviews for the narrative and soundtrack.
