Somud is a peer-to-peer media application for Windows and Android that streamlines downloading, streaming and sharing of video and music. The client merges fast file transfers with an integrated media player so you can queue, play and preview content as it downloads, with native desktop controls and configurable performance settings for PC users. Create and manage playlists, follow other users, and share tracks or clips to boost community discovery and collaboration. Advanced search and source aggregation pull media from multiple peers and indexed sources, while adaptive playback adjusts quality for smoother viewing on varied connections. Background downloads, offline playback and subtitle support help you keep favorites available and accessible across devices. Privacy and control are central: tweak bandwidth limits, enable peer verification, and organize libraries with tags and folders. A Windows-focused download manager schedules transfers and keeps files organized, and a companion Android app offers on-the-go playback and quick sync. Whether you want to stream a playlist, curate a shared library or discover new creators, Somud blends social networking with robust P2P media tools for a connected media experience.

SoMud is pretty good, I’ve met some interesting people! I like the chat features, but I think it could be a bit more intuitive. Still, a nice app overall!
