How does steam early access work?

Steam Early Access allows developers to launch their game in a playable alpha or beta state for users to purchase and play before the full release. Players can provide feedback and report bugs, which developers use to improve the game. Early Access titles are marked as such and can be found in dedicated sections of the Steam Store. The pricing may change upon full release. It's a way for developers to raise funds and involve the community in the game's development.
