In The Outer Worlds 2, players can find the Commander's Safe Key on The Incognito after the prologue. This key unlocks a safe with valuable items.
Finding the Key Onboard
The Safe Key is hidden in the engine room of The Incognito. After awakening onboard, head to the main conference area and locate the engine room nearby. Once inside, navigate behind the engine and crouch beneath the pipes to find the key resting between the railing struts on the deck.
Contents of the Safe
Upon unlocking the Commander's Safe, players will discover useful items:
- A Tossball Card granting a +1 toxicity crash threshold.
- 314 bits in currency.
- Two Bypass Shunts for hacking or lockpicking tasks.
- Two Mag Picks for unlocking mechanisms.
- An assorted selection of hooch for consumption.
The Bypass Shunts enhance hacking or lockpicking capabilities, while the Tossball Card provides a permanent boost to the toxicity crash threshold.
