"The Terrible Old Man" is a captivating point-and-click graphic adventure game inspired by H.P. Lovecraft's short story. Set in the eerie town of Kingsport, you play as a man who, along with two friends, learns about a hidden treasure belonging to an old ship captain living nearby. This revelation sets off a chain of events that drive the plot forward. The game features classic adventure mechanics: examine objects, interact with the environment, and converse with bar patrons to gather crucial information. Despite its brief 15-minute playtime, "The Terrible Old Man" effectively captures Lovecraft's unsettling atmosphere. The puzzles are few but well-crafted, and the graphics, though initially simplistic, possess a uniquely disturbing charm. Dive into this short yet immersive adaptation of a Lovecraftian tale and experience the thrill of mystery and discovery.

Not bad at all but with some flaws. Most stories are captivating, but a handful felt like they dragged. I liked the mood and creativity, but I just need a little more punch. Good start but needs a bit of fine-tuning in my opinion.
