Ubuntu on Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL) allows you to run a full-fledged Ubuntu terminal on your Windows machine. This powerful integration provides developers with the ability to use Ubuntu's robust tools and libraries directly within the Windows environment. With WSL, you can seamlessly execute Linux commands, run scripts, and manage packages using Ubuntu's APT package manager. It’s perfect for developers, system administrators, and anyone who prefers the flexibility and power of Linux but needs to work within a Windows ecosystem. Setting up Ubuntu on WSL is straightforward, and you can start coding, testing, and deploying applications in no time. Enjoy the best of both worlds with Ubuntu on WSL.
It’s nice using Ubuntu WSL, but there are some frustrating limitations. Installation was easy, but there are lag issues that make working harder sometimes. Certainly useful, just not perfect yet!
