Warframe, the popular free-to-play online action game developed by Digital Extremes, has officially launched on Android devices. This expansion brings Warframe's high-speed action and deep customization options to mobile players, further enhancing its cross-platform strategy.
Android Requirements and Features
The Android version of Warframe requires a 64-bit Android device with an ARM64 processor, Android 12.0 or higher, and at least 4 GB of RAM. Available on Google Play, the game supports full cross-play and cross-save functionality, allowing players to seamlessly transition between platforms such as Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and iOS without losing progress.
Incentives for New Players
To encourage new and returning players, Digital Extremes is offering the Cumulus Collection to anyone who downloads and logs into the game before March 4. This collection includes the Cirrus Armor Bundle, Cumulus Syandana, Stratus Pistol Skin, Spektaka Color Palette, and a 3-day Resource Booster. Additionally, the Fulmin Battlekit, a premium starter collection, is available, featuring the Fulmin weapon, Split Chamber mod, Opula Ephemera, and several 3-day boosters.
Gameplay and Monetization
Since its original release on PC in 2013, Warframe has expanded with major story updates, open-world zones, and frequent enhancements. The game focuses on cooperative missions where players control biomechanical warriors called Warframes, each with unique abilities and playstyles. The Android version maintains the core gameplay experience, optimizing performance and controls for mobile devices while continuing to offer player-friendly monetization, with nearly all content earnable through gameplay.
