For instance, Windows 7 Starter, Home Basic, Home Premium, 8, or 8.1 will upgrade to Windows 10 Home, while Windows 7 Professional, Ultimate, or any Pro editions of 8 or 8.1 will upgrade to Windows 10 Pro. Ensure you have the necessary information for your legally registered operating system.
