WinNc is a versatile tabbed file manager designed for Windows 11, but also compatible with older Windows versions. Inspired by the classic Norton Commander, WinNc features a dual-panel layout and shortcuts to all Windows special folders. Its multiple tabbed interface allows you to organize files and folders by projects, linking them virtually in a project folder. With a modern Windows 11 interface, WinNc handles essential tasks like copying, moving, deleting, compressing, and creating links, using color codes for quick identification: green for copying, orange for moving, and yellow for packing. WinNc supports multitasking by allowing multiple parallel tasks, configurable in the settings. Additional features include audio conversion, DVD and CD burning, ISO file creation and reading, file attribute setting, and file synchronization. It also enables the creation of self-extracting .exe files from zip files. For media management, WinNc offers a built-in slideshow viewer, audio preview player, and video player for efficient browsing.

I have mixed feelings about WinNc. The interface is great, but sometimes it feels a bit sluggish. The features are impressive, but I expected more stability from it. I don't know if I’d recommend it just yet!
