Microsoft has released the Windows 11 Insider Preview Quality Update KB5067115 for PCs in the Dev and Beta channels, introducing a range of new features to enhance user experience.
Update Details
The Windows 11 version 25H2 build 26220.7051 is now available in the Dev channel, while the Beta channel receives version 24H2 build 26220.7051. This indicates an imminent transition for the Beta channel to begin testing the 25H2 builds. Meanwhile, the Dev channel is anticipated to start previewing future versions, perhaps aligning with upcoming Snapdragon X2-based PCs.
Key features in KB5067115 include the introduction of Ask Copilot on the Taskbar. This opt-in feature enables Copilot Voice and Vision, supplementing the search functionality. Additionally, a Full-screen Experience (FSE) for gaming handheld PCs, beginning with the MSI Claw, has been introduced.
New Features and Enhancements
The update also introduces Shared audio (preview) using Bluetooth LE broadcasts, designed to facilitate audio sharing between users on Copilot+ PCs. Furthermore, enhancements have been made to the x64 emulator on Windows 11 on Arm, provided by Prism. These improvements support additional CPU features, ensuring better compatibility and performance of applications.
Users currently in the Dev channel who wish to continue testing 25H2 features are advised to switch to the Beta channel soon, to align with the scheduled updates.
