Discover the exhilarating world of GRIP, a first-person platformer that redefines the genre with its unique mechanics. Your mission is simple yet thrilling: race from the starting building to an orange ball positioned hundreds of meters away. What sets GRIP apart is its innovative ability to let you grab onto any surface. Unlike traditional platformers where you hit a wall and fall, GRIP allows you to stick to walls, offering a dynamic climbing experience. This feature opens up new pathways and strategies, making each level a puzzle of its own. Sometimes, the most obvious route isn't the best, and you'll need to scale walls to find the optimal jumping platforms. GRIP's jump-and-grab mechanics deliver a fresh, engaging experience, reminiscent of but distinct from games like Mirror's Edge. Dive into GRIP and enjoy a platformer like no other, where every surface is a new opportunity.

GRIP FAQ

To grip a knife securely, hold the handle with four fingers wrapped around it and the thumb gripping the opposite side. The blade should be angled away from your body. For a chef's knife, use the 'pinch grip' where you pinch the base of the blade between your thumb and index finger, wrapping the rest of your fingers around the handle for better control and precision.

The 'knife safety grip' is commonly referred to as the 'pinch grip.' In this grip, the thumb and index finger hold the blade just in front of the bolster, while the remaining fingers wrap around the handle. This grip provides better control and reduces the chance of slipping, which enhances safety and precision during cutting.

To grip a driver for golf as per Rick Shiels' instructions, place the club handle diagonally across the base of the fingers on your lead hand (left hand for right-handed golfers). Close the fingers around the club and then position the trailing hand (right hand for right-handed golfers) so the palm faces the target, interlocking or overlapping the pinky finger with the lead hand's index finger. Maintain a light grip pressure.

For a forehand grip in disc golf, hold the disc with your palm facing up and fingers underneath the rim. The index and middle fingers should be inside the rim, with the middle finger applying most of the force. The thumb rests on top of the disc providing stability. Ensure the grip is firm but not overly tight to allow for a clean release.

To grip a disc golf disc for a backhand throw, place the disc in your hand with the thumb on the top and fingers underneath the rim. The index finger should be extended along the edge for control, and the other three fingers should be curled underneath the rim for support. Your grip should be firm but relaxed, allowing for a smooth release.
