Spine: PS4 Emulator is an innovative PlayStation 4 emulator currently in private development, with a demo available for testing game compatibility. As the first PS4 emulator to run mainstream games correctly, it shows great promise. However, it's currently exclusive to Linux. The compatibility list reveals that about 35% of tested games work, though not all are perfectly playable. Emulation is still in its early stages, so many games exhibit glitches and bugs. Spine lacks a graphical interface and customizable controls, which are predefined. Despite these limitations, Spine: PS4 Emulator is a groundbreaking tool for PS4 emulation on PC, with hopes for future Windows and Mac releases to broaden its reach.
Decent experience with Spine. I like the interface and the nostalgia it brings. On the downside, some of my favorite games didn't work properly. I appreciate the effort, but it needs a bit more work.
