Maombi is committed to upholding the intellectual property rights of others. In compliance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998, we promptly address any copyright infringement claims related to content on our websites (collectively, the “Sites”) when such claims are reported to our Maombi Designated Copyright Agent as outlined below.

If you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on the owner’s behalf (or under any exclusive copyright right), please notify us of any alleged copyright infringements on or via the Sites by completing our DMCA Notice of Alleged Infringement and submitting it to our designated agent. Once we receive your notice, Maombi will review the claim and take any appropriate actions at its sole discretion, which may include removing the allegedly infringing material.

If you believe that your intellectual property rights have been violated on Maombi’s Sites, please include the following information in your notice to our Designated Copyright Agent:

  • A description of the copyrighted work or other intellectual property you claim has been infringed.
  • A description of where the allegedly infringing material is located on the Site.
  • Your contact information, including a physical address, telephone number, and email address; if applicable, also provide an alternate email address where the party allegedly responsible for the infringement (if not Maombi) may reach you.
  • A statement affirming that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is unauthorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or by law.
  • A statement, made under penalty of perjury, confirming that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are either the copyright owner or are authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.
  • Your electronic or physical signature.

Maombi reserves the right to request additional details before removing any material alleged to be infringing. We also retain the right to amend this policy at any time by posting an updated version on our website.
