In Arc Raiders, Mechanical Components are essential for upgrading the Gunsmith to level two, providing key crafting capabilities. These components can be crafted in the Refinery using 7x Metal Parts and 3x Rubber Parts, both of which are plentiful within the game or can be obtained by recycling scrap items.
Crafting and Recycling Strategies
Players can gather Metal Parts and Rubber Parts during gameplay or by employing Scrappy, who can assist in collection efforts. Alternatively, Mechanical Components can also be obtained by recycling weapons. Specifically, uncommon (green) rarity weapons, such as Arpeggio or Anvil, and uncommon weapon mods can yield Mechanical Components when scrapped.
Additionally, certain upgraded common weapons, like Rattler III or Ferro IV, may return Mechanical Components during the recycling process due to their previous upgrade usage of these items. Players could find such weapons from mission rewards or defeated raiders.
Building The Refiner
For a steady supply of Mechanical Components, constructing the Refiner in your workshop is advisable. This setup allows continuous production of the components, reducing dependence on scrapping upgraded weapons for their rare resources.
