Capcom is reportedly developing a new DLC for Resident Evil Requiem that could bring the beloved character Alyssa Ashcroft back into focus. The development was shared by well-known leaker Dusk Golem on X.
Alyssa's Return
Alyssa Ashcroft, a fan-favorite from Resident Evil Outbreak, was initially thought dead in the current Requiem timeline. Despite this, Capcom seems intent on reviving her story through additional content. Dusk Golem has mentioned hearing about at least one DLC that may spotlight Alyssa.
Requiem's Evolution
Resident Evil Requiem was created from the remnants of the canceled Resident Evil Apocalypse project, initially excluding both Alyssa and Grace. However, the inclusion of both characters seems to be enriching the narrative. Grace, another character from Requiem, also has a promising future, with Capcom reportedly planning to feature her in future installments beyond RE9.
