Merlin, the iconic wizard, will join the dark fairytale roguelike Ravenswatch as its first paid character DLC releasing in 2026. Accompanying the DLC is a complimentary update to rework and add magical objects within the game.
Merlin Character and Gameplay
The new character, Merlin, brings versatility to Ravenswatch with the ability to choose from nine spells across nature, arcane, and sacred light categories. These spells include various elemental attacks and support skills, allowing for diverse playstyles.
Magical Objects Update
Passtech Games will release a major balance update alongside the DLC. This update, based on player feedback, rebalances existing magical objects and introduces five new additions to enhance gameplay.
Launch and Availability
The Ravenswatch Merlin DLC, priced at $7.99, and the free update for magical objects will launch in January 2026. The base game is currently available at a 50% discount during the Steam Winter Sale, providing an added opportunity for new players.
