The mission involves locating the First Wave Compass, First Wave Video Tape, and Old Field Rations. The compass is located hidden in a yellow-marked box between two rows of ruined vehicles at the south end of the Scrap Yard. For the videotape, navigate north from the south end past the spherical tank; it is in a yellow-marked box near two large cylindrical metal tubes. To find the Old Field Rations, continue north to an old Raider camp trailer, where the item is inside a yellow-marked box against the left wall.
Extraction and Completion
After collecting all items, players must extract them to complete the quest. The nearest extraction point is the Water Treatment Elevator to the northwest. Players should note the presence of a leaper enemy around this area. Utilizing a safety pocket can minimize losses if death occurs during the extraction process.
