Hoyoverse has revealed Varsapura, a new game combining combat and mystery elements set in modern-day Singapore. The gameplay was unveiled in a 31-minute demo, showcasing a mix of paranormal investigation, dialogue choices, and inventive combat mechanics.

The demo starts with the protagonist at the SEAL headquarters, part of the Shadow Emergency Alliance. Here, a unique "mind scan" interview process challenges applicants with restrictive scenarios. Players can opt out using the command, "Requesting intervention." The Mindbog, demoed as manifesting negative comments and shadow creatures, powers the test chamber.
Combat features include umbrella-based attacks and dynamic party-member swaps. Characters such as Sayuki offer unique abilities, like projectile paper attacks. Nuanced dialogue options, categorized by Empathy, Persuasion, and Deception, enhance narrative depth.

The game integrates an open-world driving sequence depicting Singapore's roads, and rooftop stealth missions employing umbrella abilities for stunning enemies. Varsapura's art style is realistic but retains anime influences, with personalized protagonist appearances for players.
