Squid Game: Unleashed to Debut at Gamescom
Netflix Games has given us a sneak peek at their upcoming Squid Game-inspired game, Squid Game: Unleashed. The full showcase of the game will take place at Gamescom’s opening night in Cologne on August 20th. While details are scarce at the moment, we can expect more exciting news to follow the showcase.
The game is confirmed to be a multiplayer title, but other than that, we can only speculate on what to expect. Will it be similar to Fall Guys or feature puzzle minigames? The key visual gives off a vibe reminiscent of the GO series of games, but we’ll have to wait until the official reveal at Gamescom to know for sure.
Despite the original Squid Game series losing some of its initial buzz, a new season on the horizon may help reignite interest in the franchise.
