Replays in 2025 Bring Mass Effect's Normandy to NMS

09 Nov 2025

Hello Games is reintroducing all its 2025 expeditions in No Man's Sky, allowing players another opportunity to acquire Mass Effect's Normandy SR-1. Published on 2025-11-09, these expeditions accompanied major updates throughout the year.

Expedition Timeline

The Beachhead Expedition, a major event that started on N7 Day, will run until 2025-11-18 and offers players the pilotable Normandy SR-1. Following Beachhead, the Voyagers expedition will commence, focusing on new planet types and offering a living ship as a reward.

  • The Beachhead ended on 2025-11-18.
  • Voyagers follows, concentrating on planetary types from Worlds: Part 2.
  • A living ship will be awarded in Voyagers.

After the Voyagers ends on 2025-12-02, the Galactic Palaeology expedition begins, inviting players to explore ancient fossils. The year-end expedition, set to start on 2025-12-17, challenges players to build a Corvette-class starship while avoiding Sentinels.

Further Developments in 2026

No Man's Sky will kick off the New Year with a redux of a recent expedition, directing players into an abandoned universe. Hello Games co-founder Sean Murray announced that additional content is under active development for 2026, hinting at more updates and a future project titled 'Light No Fire', featuring an Earth-sized planet with real oceans.
