Schell Games has launched Project Freefall, a cross-platform battle royale skydiving tag game available for early access starting on 2023-10-21. The game debuted a playable demo during Steam Next Fest.
Gameplay Mechanics
In Project Freefall, eight players leap from a plane to compete midair, aiming to hold a single backpack. Players utilize a combination of arm-mounted thrusters and independent grappling hooks for movement. The game's dynamic environment includes giant obstacles and power-ups like paint grenades and melee items, promoting skillful navigation.
