Bully Online, a fan-built multiplayer mod, will make its debut for early backers in December, preceding the anticipated release of GTA 6. Spearheaded by YouTuber Swegta, this project offers players an interactive, role-playing environment inspired by the well-known GTA Online.
Multiplayer and Roleplay Features
The mod incorporates free roaming, exploration, and minigames, enabling players to earn virtual currency. This currency can be used to acquire housing, vehicles, and more. Unique roleplaying mechanics like vehicle lock keys enhance the gaming experience.
Game Variants and Release Plans
Bully Online offers diverse minigames, including races, brawls, and innovative modes like Rat Wars, where players are transformed into oversized armed rodents. Notably, standard server gameplay excludes firearms to maintain the original Bully atmosphere.
Early Access and Long-term Vision
Supporters on Ko-fi can access the mod in December and enjoy exclusive benefits, such as a distinctive blue nametag and priority queueing. The full release of Bully Online is scheduled for 2026, commemorating the 20th anniversary of Canis Canem Edit. The project is positioned to overcome challenges faced by former Bully multiplayer efforts.
