Terra Invicta has officially launched its 1.0 version, marking a significant step for Pavonis Interactive, known for X-COM: The Long War. This grand-strategy game combines alien conflicts with global geopolitics and long-term planning scenarios.
New Features and Updates
The 1.0 release introduces a 2026 start date, mirroring real-world events like the Ukraine war. Furthermore, text localization has expanded to include Czech, Italian, Korean, Russian, and Ukrainian. These updates follow a November pre-launch patch that added 50 new Earth regions, an enhanced interstellar combat mode, and a 2070 start scenario.
Planned Enhancements
Pavonis views this release as a major milestone but intends to introduce more nuanced features in the future. Planned updates include Cold War and post-nuclear scenarios, hab loyalty management, global environmental tipping points, and refugee systems.
Pricing and Availability
To celebrate the 1.0 launch, the game is offered at a 35% discount, reducing the price from $40 to $26. This launch took place on 2026-01-10, and Pavonis is optimistic about continued updates and community engagement.
