Reaching Mount Fay
To embark on this daunting journey, players need the Clawline ability set, which is obtained from the right side of the Underworks. Access to this location is granted via Whiteward by procuring the White Key positioned at the top right of the Choral Chambers, specifically to the right of The First Shrine. This key is used to unlock a previously inaccessible elevator at the bottom level of the area. Alternatively, adventurers can choose to travel via the elevator near The Stage located at the bottom right of The Whispering Vaults, which is accessible through the lower right of the Cogwork Core after overpowering the boss at the summit of the Choral Chambers. The conventional route sees players exiting the middle left side of the Choral Chambers, passing through the adjacent area and the Bellway station en route to Mount Fay.
Ascending Mount Fay
The ascent is notably demanding, requiring stringent platforming skills. Along the route, there are two strategic checkpoints in the form of benches. The first bench, located behind a barrier, demands currency; hence carrying sufficient Rosary Strings is advisable to purchase a map from Shakra. The second bench is cunningly hidden behind a breakable wall, providing a much-needed reprieve. A dynamic factor to consider is the creeping cold which inflicts damage over time, pushing players to hasten their movement between glowing white lamps. These lamps serve as sanctuaries, dispelling the cold and allowing players to reset if necessary.
