23 Dec 2025

Tactical FPS Exfil is launching a free week and a major update to boost its lagging player numbers on Steam by the end of 2025.

Player Engagement Tactics

Developer Tiny Leviathan is providing a free trial period from 2025-12-22 to 2025-12-31. After earlier peaks of 1,178 players, recent counts are in the low double digits.

  • New maps added: Stone Dragon and Malverde Cartel.
  • Includes 11 new weapons and nine attachments.
  • Enhanced gameplay mechanics like weapon mounting and sniper breath control.
  • Improved enemy AI and new helicopter support feature.

Promotions and Pricing

Exfil remains free to play until 2025-12-31 on Steam. A 30% discount is active until 2026-01-05, as the game continues early access.

New accessibility features have also been introduced, such as an FOV slider and colorblind modes to cater to a broader audience.
