Outfit7 Launches PlayValley for PC and Mobile Games

21 Jan 2026

Outfit7 has announced the launch of PlayValley, a new game division aimed at developing games for both PC and mobile platforms. This marks a strategic shift for Outfit7 as the company prepares for its debut on the popular gaming service, Steam, in the second quarter of 2026 with its first PC title.

Focus on Innovation and New IPs

PlayValley will focus on creating original intellectual properties (IPs) to enrich Outfit7’s game portfolio, which is already extensive with over 26 billion downloads. The division emphasizes a distinctive visual style and intuitive gameplay, encouraging creative freedom and teamwork among developers. "We want every game to feel right from the first moment," stated Žiga Sedovnik, PlayVally's vice president.

Operational Strategy and Approach

PlayValley supports a hands-on and creator-led approach, allowing teams to independently manage their projects. This method is designed to foster the development of accessible and replayable games that span various genres, mechanics, and platforms. Aiming to provide immediate player engagement, the teams are encouraged to experiment and iterate rapidly to refine their creations.

Outfit7’s expanding entertainment portfolio, which includes animated series, theme parks, and licensing opportunities, will continue to grow alongside the introduction of new games by PlayValley. With up to 470 million monthly active players, the company is set to make a significant impact in new gaming markets.
