Players will control both allies and foes, utilizing tactics such as engagement-locking and the attack resolve system. Inspired by games like 'Into the Breach' and tabletop experiences such as 'Mansions of Madness,' Neath introduces innovative gameplay elements.
Players will ascend an ever-changing inverted tower and engage with Fate's Die events that drastically alter game runs. Another key feature is the town of Shale, where players can construct settlements to prepare for their next adventure.
