Sefirah Bridges Android Phones and Windows PCs Seamlessly

26 Nov 2025

Sefirah, developed by shrimqy, is an open-source tool that enables seamless connectivity between Android phones and Windows PCs over a local network. It offers features like full notification and app mirroring, a bidirectional clipboard, SMS management from the desktop, and direct file sharing.

Key Features and Functionality

Sefirah ensures Android-to-PC integration, displaying PC connection status and power options from the Android device. Clipboard syncing works both ways, automatically populating received images. Notifications are mirrored as unobtrusive toasts on Windows, allowing users to clear or reply from their desktops. Android storage can be browsed in Windows Explorer as a network drive, despite being labeled experimental.

The integration utilizes scrcpy for screen mirroring and remote control. USB connections offer stability, while wireless mirroring requires specific port settings. Permissions and open firewall ports 5149–5169 are prerequisites for setup.

Lightweight and Privacy-Respecting

Sefirah stands out due to its lightweight, open-source nature, providing a compelling alternative to bulkier, cloud-dependent solutions. It's designed to respect user privacy, running efficiently, and offering extensive documentation for troubleshooting.
