Development Journey
Rewind's development faced challenges, switching from CryEngine to Unreal Engine 4 before reverting due to licensing issues. The project accelerated in 2020 when art lead Cameron Williams's update expanded the team rapidly.

The original TimeSplitters games are revered despite their age, and Rewind aims to refresh and celebrate their legacy. Developers plan further updates following the early access stage, enhancing what they call "the largest free content video game ever."
