Techland has unveiled a comprehensive 11-week plan for Dying Light, introducing a series of post-launch content updates. This includes the highly-anticipated New Game Plus and a new Nightmare difficulty mode.
11 Weeks of New Challenges
The event, titled 'Call of the Beast', will release weekly community challenges every Thursday over the next 11 weeks. Players will have the chance to unlock various rewards, such as cosmetic skins and new weapons. Notably, 17 out of the 22 community goals must be completed to unlock a legendary reward. Completing 20 goals will grant all available rewards, irrespective of individual participation.
Exciting Game Enhancements
Players can look forward to a significant update with the addition of New Game Plus, allowing them to replay the game with all previously earned gear. In response to community feedback, Techland has also added a more challenging Nightmare difficulty mode. This includes enhanced execution moves, support for ray tracing on PC, and various quality-of-life improvements, providing a richer gameplay experience.
Future Prospects for Community Engagement
Techland's roadmap aims to maintain player engagement by offering diverse challenges and updated game modes. The regular infusion of new content encourages ongoing participation and community involvement. According to the company, this aligns with their goal of enhancing the gaming experience and responding to player requests.
