Team Cherry has launched Patch 4 for Hollow Knight Silksong on PC, delivering a range of gameplay enhancements and bug fixes. This update introduces new visual settings, tool buffs, and adopts a fan-made Chinese localization by Team Cart Fix.
Localization and Gameplay Enhancements
The patch includes improved tool functionality and performance modifications. Notably, the Multibinder tool now heals without slowing when used with the Shaman Crest, and the Wreath of Purity has enhanced durability. In addition, the update adopts Team Cart Fix's translation, maintaining character names and fixing narrative inconsistencies in Simplified Chinese.
Gameplay adjustments cover issues such as entering or losing the plasmified state, as well as adjusting the Fractured Mask's protection against volt hazards. Rune Rage scaling has been corrected, and Beast Crest fury slashes now pierce enemies as intended.
Technical and Visual Improvements
The update moves controller support to the Unity Input System, enhancing performance and restoring certain rumble features. Additional visual options such as dithering (default: low) and film grain (default: off) have been added, allowing users to customize their visual experience further.
The patch also addresses bugs related to Hornet pushing enemies through floors and courier delivery issues, ensuring smoother gameplay. Patch 4 is currently available for players on PC.
