Bloodhunt Servers to Shutdown Permanently on April 28, 2026

27 Oct 2025

Sharkmob announced the closure of Bloodhunt servers, set for April 28, 2026, due to unsustainable player levels.

Closure and Current Status

Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodhunt, Sharkmob's battle royale game, will no longer be accessible after its servers shut down on April 28, 2026. This decision comes as player numbers dwindled to approximately 400–600 daily users. Despite a dedicated community, the server operation is deemed financially unviable.

Game Accessibility

As of now, players cannot purchase Tokens, the in-game currency, though the store remains open for spending balances. Bloodhunt will be removed from sale on both PC and PlayStation after the servers go offline. Active development ceased in May 2023, contributing to the decreased player engagement.

Lingering Impact and Memories

The game's Prague setting and class-based play left lasting impressions, with some players expressing nostalgic sentiments about memorable moments and character roles, such as the Prowler Nosferatu and Toreador Muse. Sharkmob acknowledged these experiences, emphasizing the communal bonds and battles shaped within the game's universe.
