Hypixel Studios has announced the early access release of Hytale, scheduled for 2026-01-13. This upcoming voxel RPG, reminiscent of Minecraft, is launching after a complex development period, including involvement with Riot Games.
Alpha Pricing and Warnings
The studio's CEO, Simon Collins-Laflamme, stated that pricing for early access will be as low as possible, reflecting the game's unfinished status. He explicitly advised potential players against pre-ordering or joining early if they are uneasy about experiencing an unpolished product.
The release is considered a true alpha stage, as noted by content lead Polina Logado. She highlighted the team's commitment to ongoing improvements despite the initial version's limitations.
