Wipe Mechanics Explained
Players of Arc Raiders can engage in the Expedition Project once they reach level 20. Each project spans eight weeks, ending with the option to wipe accounts for those who complete it. This feature allows players to reset their progress—including levels, skills, and items—while retaining achievements, rankings, and cosmetic items. Alternatively, players can opt out, carrying over their progress to the next cycle.
Rewards and Incentives
Completing an Expedition grants exclusive cosmetic rewards, permanent account unlocks, and buffs for the following cycle. These bonuses enhance quality of life but do not provide any combat advantage, ensuring fair competition among players.
Launch and Player Options
The first account wipe window is expected in December, offering players a repeatable opportunity to start fresh bi-monthly. This system accommodates players who enjoy starting over while providing a stability option for those who prefer to maintain their progression and gear.
