Last Epoch, a popular action RPG developed by Eleventh Hour Games, has released its patch 1.3.2, introducing significant updates to improve gameplay and accessibility. The centerpiece of this update is the enhanced availability of Season 3’s coveted primordial uniques, powerful items that are now easier to obtain due to a variety of gameplay modifications.
Improved Accessibility to Primordial Uniques
Players have eagerly anticipated the chance to acquire primordial uniques, and this patch provides multiple avenues to do so. These unique items can now be dropped by Rift Beasts. The likelihood of obtaining one increases as players stack evolutions, navigate endgame corruption, and align with the Circle of Fortune. Zones defined by mysterious or torn rifts will now issue notifications in the chat, helping players identify potent areas for farming these uniques.
Gameplay Enhancements and Quality of Life Improvements
The Last Epoch community will also experience a suite of convenience updates aimed at refining user interactions and gameplay mechanics. Upon entering The Garden, the game now generates a return portal, offering increased flexibility in exploration. A notable update to the Primalist class allows the summoned scorpion to trigger Avalanche boulder effects through the Reverberating Strike ability, providing new strategic options for players skilled in the Avalanche tree. Furthermore, key game items, such as primordial materials and currencies, boast clearer visuals and organized displays for ease of use.
Users can expect a smoother experience thanks to minor but impactful details, such as an audio cue that triggers when players receive damage while navigating full-screen menus. Additionally, item displays in tooltips and Skarven Bloodthorn's shop have been corrected to align with inventory sequences.
Bug Fixes
Patch 1.3.2 also arrives with an array of bug fixes aimed at enhancing game stability and performance. Key adjustments include improved targeting for totems in online play, which should now correctly aim at spires. Other fixes focus on ability mechanics: the Ring of Shields skill retains charges as intended, Aura of Decay now properly displays its area of effect when attached to enemies, and respawning in offline dungeons via key use no longer inadvertently transports players back to the town starting point.
These comprehensive updates and fixes reflect Eleventh Hour Games’ ongoing commitment to providing a balanced, engaging, and seamless experience for Last Epoch players. The full patch notes for this release are available from the developers’ official sources.
