Fortune's Run Update: New Factory, Settlement Expansion, Stealth Revamp

11 Jun 2024

Exciting Updates Coming to Fortune's Run

I've been a Fortune's Run enthusiast ever since I first played its captivating demo level two years ago. Now, as the game moves from early access to its next phase, we're getting a glimpse of what's to come: an underground factory and settlement expansion with a projected three-hour runtime, set to be released in August.

Fortune's Run offers a unique blend of immersive sim gameplay, featuring sprawling, realistic level design and fast-paced melee combat. The upcoming video game update is set to revamp the stealth mechanics, introducing new tools and challenges to keep players on their toes.

Revamped Stealth Mechanics

  • Players can now hide in lockers, similar to Metal Gear Solid.
  • New security features such as cameras, traps, alarms, and enemy reinforcement systems will test your stealth skills.
  • Expect new elemental interactions and weapons like the electro harpoon gun and napalm rifle.
  • A revamped hacking minigame and voxel-based enemy corpses add depth to the gameplay.

In addition to the new content, players can look forward to exploring a non-combat hub between missions, allowing for more immersive world-building and exploration opportunities.

While the stealth update is scheduled for an August release, players can currently enjoy a 10% discount on Fortune's Run on Steam. Don't miss out on the chance to experience the game's engaging first level and demo mission.
