Enhanced Realism in The City

The official press release from 2K Games highlights a significant milestone: “For the first time, The City is coming to PC. Players with compatible hardware will experience enhanced realism in The City through ray tracing technology.” This statement hints at a new level of immersion, as players can expect a more lifelike environment within The City, thanks to the advanced graphical capabilities.

However, 2K Games has yet to clarify whether these Ray Tracing effects will extend to the console versions of the game. Questions linger regarding the implementation of Ray Tracing technology—will it merely enhance reflections, or will developers utilize Ray Tracing Global Illumination (RTGI) for a more comprehensive visual upgrade?
